Venice Beach

 This one will be short and sweet! I'm basically just including it to remind myself that we went here!

We spent 6 days in Venice Beach after sending Granny and the kids on their way home. We stayed in the same area that we stayed before because the place has it's own private (so private that NO ONE could see in your yard) hot tub and was just a few blocks from the beach. That being said, the inside of the place is just okay, but the yard certainly makes up for it! It was also located very close (metres) away from the street where all the homeless people have set up camp. So from the comfort of our hot tub we couldn't see them... but we could hear them! It made me a bit nervous, but other than one guy calling Steve a "happy little (*&^" as we walked down the street, none of them even looked twice at us.

We had a very laid back week that included walks down to the beach, a walk through Santa Monica and a delicious meal at Larry's Pizza. Other than that we really just vegged out at our place. We didn't even take any photos... well Steve did take one of me sleeping out in the yard, but I'm not going to include it because it is NOT flattering 😀
