Our Last Day in London

The Twentymoon - Oct. 12, 2010

Nothing really out of the ordinary happened today.

Steve waiting patiently for me on our porch!

We had a terrific dinner at the Laka Leke restaurant. It was pretty cool because we got to sit at one of those low tables where you sit on cushions on the floor!

We were outside and could see the starry sky, there was candlelight, Buddha statues and incense, a gently lit lily pond, and jungle sounds. It was most excellent! We're all about the ambience.

The food was terrific, including the chocolate mousse! The mousse wasn't the same as the mousse we have at home, but it was certainly delicious!

We also made a decision today that we are going to start telling people that we are on our "Twentymoon" next time they ask if we are on our honeymoon.
We're not falling for the extreme flattery and believing we look young enough to be on our honeymoon...

I speculate that there are a few reasons people keep asking us if we are on our honeymoon:
1) They want us to buy something/tip them for something.
2) We noticed, particularly in Europe, that people are getting married older and having children later...maybe they think we are in that category?
3) They have been trained to ask a few English questions and that is of the questions.

And in my truly narcissistic way, this is the reason I think is why...
4) We look so young and happy from being on this extended vacation, we look like we must be on our honeymoon 😀
