The Nazi Officer's Wife - By Edith Hahn Beer. My score 4/5. Read in December 2017. Set in Munich, but also set in Vienna, Austria.

Ghana

Housegirl - By Michael Donkor. My score 4/5. Read in March 2019. Set in Accra and various places around Ghana. Also set in London, England.

Greece

Circe - by Madeline Miller. My score 4/5. Read in January 2021. An interesting retelling of the life of the Goddess Circe. This was a book I enjoyed more than I thought I would! I don't typically like mythology or fantasy, but Miller had a way of drawing me into the story. I probably would have learned more Greek mythology earlier in life if it was presented to me this way. An enjoyable read.

Nights of Rain and Stars - by Maeve Binchy. My score 4/5. Read in 2008. Set in Naxos.

Stars of Fortune - By Nora Roberts. My score 3/5. Read in January 2016. Set in Corfu.
